Emersyn Secora has recently signed with RedTail Volleyball

CEDAR RAPIDS–Emersyn Secora of Kennedy High School has recently signed her letter of intent with Hawkeye Community College to continue her academic and athletic career. 

Secora has been playing volleyball for eight years, as she started when she was ten years old. Secora is a pin hitter when she is on the court, and she loves playing the sport. 

"I'm very excited to continue playing the sport I have been playing since I was ten years old. Hawkeye will provide me the opportunity to play a high level of volleyball, while also being able to have a college life," said Secora. "I loved the coaches and girls and can't wait to get to know them more through the next few seasons."

Secora has plans to become a nurse and looks forward to her future as a RedTail.
