RedTail Volleyball Competes in a Scrimmage At North Iowa Area Community College

MASON CITY—The RedTails Volleyball team traveled to Mason City on Tuesday, April 23, to play in a Spring Scrimmage at North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC). They played for 50 minutes and had a 10-minute break between opponents. RedTails opened against NIACC, then played Ellsworth, and finished against DMACC.

Head Coach Christy Mahi commented, "Traveling to Mason City and competing in the scrimmage at NIACC was a great way to close out our spring season. I was pleased to see the progress we've made over the last month and a half of training and competing. Two main focuses have been on serving and ball control, whether that's in serve receive or on defense. We were able to see improvement in those areas of our game, and we are thrilled about that. I feel we have laid a solid foundation with our returners and look forward to adding our incoming freshman into the mix. We are proud of this group and how hard they worked and how they embraced everything we have done together this spring. I am looking forward to the fall season with this great group of athletes!"
