RedTail Men’s Bowling Competes in First Tournament of the Year

ADDISON, ILLINOIS- The RedTails competed at the Midwest Classic on January 15-16 at Stardust Bowl and finished in 57th place with a total score of 4494. 

 

Christopher Little led the RedTails, scoring a total of 974 and averaging 194.8 pins a game. Alexander Sturbaum scored a total of 919 and averaged 183.8 pins per game. Christian Merrick scored a total of 899 and averaged 179.8 pins per game.

 

"Considering the size of the field, this was the biggest tournament we have bowled in as of yet and there were times the men did keep pace with some other good teams, so I feel with the events we have remaining, the men have more confidence in themselves to finish strong this season," said assistant coach Roger Taylor.

 

Next up for the RedTails is the Clarke Invite on January 29-30.
