RedTails’ Golf Competes in First Tournament of the Season

MASON CITY– The RedTails Golf team finished fourth with a team score of 303 in the NIACC Invite on September 7. 

Tom Bell, Grant Dekruyf, Luke Galeazzi had the top scores for the RedTails, each shooting 76. Sacha Brown was right behind, shooting 78. 

"It was fun to finally get out and play an actual tournament after several weeks of competing within the team," says coach Micah Destival, "I thought we did fairly well against a good field considering most of our guys hadn't seen the course before. We will be looking to build on the positives and improve for our next tournament."

Next up for the RedTails is the Clarke Invite in Galena, Illinois, on September 17-18.
