Male Athlete of the Week-Kaeden Anderson

RedTail golf student-athlete Kaeden Anderson has been named Scheels Male Athlete of the Week for his performances at the Fall Statesmen Invite in Okaloosa, IA on August 29th.

Kaeden won the Fall Statesmen Invite shooting rounds of 69-69 (-2) and won in a playoff over teammate Bruno Marti Jimenez. He shot two under par total of 138 for 2 days (69-69). Kaeden won on the second playoff hole by driving the green and making a ten-foot putt for an eagle.

"We did a lot of good things as a team in the first tournament but was fun to watch teammates battle it out for the overall individual title," said head coach Micah Destival. "Quite the finish by Kaeden to eagle the 2nd hole to beat Bruno. Fun group of golfers this year and look forward to this season."

Anderson is originally from Culleybackey, Northern Ireland.
