Male Athlete of the Week - Will Steege

RedTail Golf student-athlete Will Steege has been named Scheels Male Athlete of the Week for his impressive performance at the Battle of Waterloo tournament on September 13-14.

Will finished 3rd place with a total score of 212 (71-67-74), tying school records for 18-hole, 36-hole, and 54-hole tournament scores. His consistent play included a strong first day with scores of 71 and 67 (6 under par), and a solid final round of 74.

"Will has continued his strong play all fall. It was nice to see him play such a good first day and have a decent third round not having his best stuff. Will continues to be a leader on this team and we look forward to seeing what else he does this year," said head coach Micah Destival.

Will Steege is originally from Parkersburg, IA.
