RedTails Place Third at District Preview

On Monday, April 14, the RedTail Men's Golf team traveled to Sioux City to participate in the District Preview. The day brought very tough conditions to test even the most skilled golfers out there, 40 degrees and winds up to 40 mph.
Hawkeye was led by sophomore Kaeden Anderson, who picked up the individual win, firing a 74 (+2). Another top finisher for the RedTails was sophomore Bruno Marti Jimenez, who tied for 14th, shooting 79 (+7). The RedTails tied for third as a team, carding 318. Head coach Micah Destival had this to say after the tournament.
"It has definitely been springtime in Iowa with another day of 30 mph winds and rain on the golf course. Considering the elements, we did play pretty well on a tough golf course to finish tied for third. Kaeden continues his impressive spring by winning the event with a 74. Looking forward to our home invite at Gates Park Friday and Saturday."
