The RedTail Men's Soccer Team went up against a difficult opponent at Wednesday's (April 21) game. The Blackhawks dominated the RedTails in a 5-1 game in West Burlington.
The game was looking good for the RedTails in the start of the first half. Alex Harris made an unassisted goal in the first six minutes. The RedTails continued to hold their one point lead during the first half, Blackhawks staying at zero.
Unfortunately, by the second half of the game the Blackhawks picked up their momentum and scored a devastating five goals.
The four penalties dealt a blow to the RedTails in the second half. The RedTails ended the game unable to score another point.
The RedTails will be back, power hungry, at Saturday's (April 24) game against Dakota County Technical College at the Cedar Valley Soccer Complex.
