RedTails Men’s Soccer Defeat the Hawks
NORFOLK, NEB.–The men's soccer team won their second game in a row when they defeated the Northeast Community College Hawks 3-2 on September 18.
The RedTails scored three minutes into the game, with a goal by Niall Chinn assisted by Bobby Robinson. In the second half, Reon Dawes scored the second goal for the RedTails unassisted. Joe Baston assisted by Tom Preece scored the third and final goal for the RedTails.
"The boys started the game well, scored early and instead of kicking off we actually took our foot off and allowed them back into the game," says coach Leo Driscoll. "We learnt from our first half and put things right in the 2nd half and could have won by a few more. Huge credit has to go to the goalkeeper, he made some massive saves today and long may his good form continue."
The RedTails will return home to play Southeastern Community College on September 21.
