Men’s Soccer Finish Their Week with a Win
WATERLOO–The RedTails finished their week with a win against North Iowa Area Community College on September 25 after falling 4-1 to Southeastern Community College on September 21.
The RedTails returned home to take on the Southeastern Community College Blackhawks. The RedTails only goal was scored by Keith Gakaka assisted by Alex Harris and goalie Bradley Mcquillan had 1 save. The RedTails then traveled to Mason City to take on the NIACC Trojans, where they played a dominant game winning 6-0.
"The boys were very professional, they went to Mason City with a job to do, they did the job and we left," says head coach Leo Driscoll. "I am very happy with how it went, we played some good soccer, scored some nice goals and everyone who travelled got on the field so it was a very positive trip. The next couple of games are the most important, it could be a make or break for the season."
The RedTails will return home on September 29 to take on Northeast Community College.
