RedTails Win Third Game in a Row

WATERLOO- The RedTail Men's Soccer team won their third game in the row after winning 10-0 against Scott Community College on October 2.

Dilesh Patel scored the first goal against Scott Community College within the first minute of the game assisted by Joe Baston. Kieth Gakaka scored the second goal with an assist by Savage. The third goal was scored by Renan Caruso assisted by Sam White. Joe Baston scored the fourth goal assisted by Savage. Joe Farlow scored the fifth goal assisted by Darnell Joseph and the sixth goal assisted by Jezrrael Rodrigues. The seventh goal was scored by Alex Harris assisted by Savage. Jezrrael Rodrigues scored the eight goal assisted by Joe Farlow. The ninth goal was scored by Niall Chin assisted by Bobby Robinson. Alex Cardoso scored the 10th and final goal.

"The guys put in a very solid performance, they were hungry and it showed as we scored after 21 seconds," says head coach Leo Driscoll. "It also gave us a chance to play everyone, which is great for team morale. It turned into a bit of a training exercise towards the end and the guys stayed focused and continued to move the ball and play the game like we want to as a team."

Earlier in the week the RedTails had faced off against Northeast Community College on September 29 where they won 3-1. Tbo Sotoyinbo scored the first and second goa for the RedTails. Joe Bilyard scored the third goal assisted by Brandon Savage. Goalie Bradley Mcquillan had 2 saves.

The RedTails will travel to Burlington to compete against Southeastern Community College on October 5.
