WATERLOO–The men's soccer team continued their winning streak with their victories over Southeastern Community College on October 5 and Dakota County Technical College on October 9.
The men faced off against the Southeastern Community College BlackHawks winning the game 3-2. Gonzalo Ramos scored a goal minutes into the game, assisted by Joe Baston. The RedTails were down 1-2 at the half, but were able to come back and win the game in the second half. Jaydon Joseph scored the second goal, assisted by Brandon Savage, and the third goal assisted by Alex Harris. The men then took on the Dakota County Technical College Blue Knights on October 9 winning 5-0.
"The men have really kicked on since our last loss and we are on a nice little run of consecutive wins," says coach Leo Driscoll. "This week was difficult because of a trip to the reigning national champions and then a long trip up to Minnesota, but the guys showed true passion and fight and came home with two big wins for our season. We currently sit at the top of the conference and do not intend on slowing down."
The RedTails will travel to Bettendorf on October 13 to take on Scott Community College.
