Men’s Soccer Advances to Region XI Championship
WATERLOO–The men's soccer team advanced to the next round of the postseason after their 4-0 win over Northeast Community College on October 27.
Minutes into the game Tbo Sotoyinbo scored with an assist from Joe Farlow. Sotoyinbo scored the second goal also assisted by Farlow. The third goal was scored by Reon Dawes, assisted by Dilesh Patel. The fourth and final goal was scored by William Anash.
"The guys continued with the quality that we have come to expect from them," says coach Leo Driscoll. "They moved the ball well and good combinations unlocked Northeast defense which enabled us to put the game to bed early in the second half. We also defended well, meaning they were only able to have shots from distance."
The RedTails will return home to take on Southeastern Community College in the Region XI Championship on October 31.
