Male Athlete of the Week-Niall Chinn

RedTail soccer student-athlete Niall Chinn has been named Scheels Male Athlete of the Week for his performances so far this season and specifically most recently against NIACC on September 20.

Niall has had great success so far this season and has contributed greatly to the RedTail Men's Soccer team, starting in five of his seven games played. Recently, against NIACC, he had three goals in the 7-0 win and was the one goal against Northeast in the tight 2-1 loss. Niall has six total goals for the season and counts for one assist.

"Last week vs NIACC Niall came in and scored 3 goals and assisted 1, said interim head coach Anthony Velez. "He's had a very good season and has shown his abilities in training and games. Niall has been an excellent student as well and doing a great job keeping up with his academics as he is trying to find the right school to continue playing soccer and studying. He is a great example of someone coming in and doing the right things and getting rewarded. I'm sure Niall will continue to make a big impact throughout the rest of the season."
