RedTail Men’s Soccer Shuts Out the NIACC Trojans
The RedTails defeated the Trojans on their home turf, winning 2-0 on Wednesday, August 30.
Freshman Isaac Semini started off the scoring by getting the first goal, with assistance from Freshman Shimon Lofemba (34). Shortly after Semini's score, he assisted Lofemba on the second score of the game. The RedTails didn't even give the Trojans a chance to score, leaving the game at 2-0.
Head coach Chris Rennie had positive words after this great win.
"I'm so happy for the men today, we really showed a great team spirit and maturity in our performance today," he said. "It's great to get back to winning games against a local school today but, there's very little time now for us to enjoy it as we now shift our focus to Saturday against Marshalltown."
The RedTails next matchup is at Marshalltown on Saturday, September 2, at 12:30pm.
