The RedTails Lose a Close Game Against Parkland College 1-2

The Hawkeye RedTails Men's soccer team lost a close game to NJCAA DII #6 ranked Parkland College with a final score 1-2.
The RedTails played an intense game. Both teams scored in the first half with Parkland taking the first goal. The RedTails Ahmed Dosso scored the first goal for the team tying the game. Both teams played fiercely in the second half and were neck and neck until Parkland scored the last goal of the game with only six minutes left on the clock.
Here are some of head coach Christopher Remmie's thoughts on the game;
"We are of course disappointed by the result and conceding a goal so late on makes it that little bit harder. We hate losing and I felt that we deserved something from the performance, but sometimes that is soccer, and we move forward now. I felt for long periods in the game we showed our qualities and created some really good chances against a top ten team. We will take the time to look back on the game film and really review the performance as there were a lot of positives that we can take from today along with continuing to improve in a couple of areas."
The men will be playing on August 31 against Marshalltown Community College at the Cedar Valley Soccer Complex
