RedTails defeat East Central College 5-2

The RedTail Men's soccer team played against East Central College on Saturday, September 7.
The men's team had a strong throughout the first half Shimon Lofemba scoring the first goal of the game and Augustin Sisti scoring the second. However East Central was able to score two goals of their own in the tail end of the first half tieing the scores going into the second half. The RedTails fixed that quickly, scoring their third goal early in the half. They kept up the pressure, scoring two more goals throughout the half.
Here are some thoughts on the team's performance from the head coach Chris Rennie.
"The guys have put a lot of work in over the last week, one of those areas has been our decision making in the final third and we have seen a vast improvement over these last two games, scoring 13 goals, much more decisive. The second area that we have challenged the group on is their closeness off the field, they have been very intentional in spending more time together, getting to know one another and we are starting to see the togetherness now. At 2-2 the game could have gone two ways, but the guys stuck together to make sure today was a success."
The RedTails will play again Saturday, September 14, at Heartland Community College.
