RedTails lose to Northeast Community College 0 - 6.

The Hawkeye RedTail Men's Soccer team lost to Northeast Community College 0-6 in their game on September 21.

The RedTails game on Saturday yielded a disappointing result. Northeast was able to constantly take offensive strides and allowed almost no room for the RedTails to make their own offensive pushes to score. Northeast had a total of fourteen shots on goal throughout the game. Northeast scored their first two goals in the first half and closed out with four more goals in the second half.

Here is what head coach, Christopher Rennie, had to say about the game.

"Today it is hard to not focus on the score line but there were some big improvements in the team's overall performance.  We showed a lot of growth in our work rate, fight, communication and defending during open play. However set pieces again were something we had difficulties dealing with. The players must focus on the positives and move forward."

The RedTails will be playing again on Wednesday, September 25, at 1:00pm.
