RedTail Track and Field Names Three New Assistant Coaches

The RedTail Track and Field program is excited to announce the addition of three new assistant coaches: Jerome Crayton, Emily March, and Kasandra Parker. Each coach brings a unique set of skills and experiences to the team, enhancing the program's commitment to excellence in all track and field events.

Jerome Crayton, a Minnesota native, joins the RedTails as a specialist in sprints and conditioning. Crayton holds a Bachelor of Exercise Science from Minnesota State University Moorhead and is currently pursuing a Master's in Education Leadership. With a background as a Division II track and field athlete and coaching experience at Fisher High School, Crayton is well-versed in developing individualized training programs that optimize athletic performance. His dedication to fostering a positive and supportive environment for athletes will be invaluable to the RedTail program.

Emily March, from Independence, Iowa, will focus on coaching the throws events. A former NCAA Division I athlete from Iowa State University, March is no stranger to high-level competition. She earned a Bachelor of Liberal Studies with minors in Psychology and Women and Gender Studies, and her track record as a discus record holder and Big 12 runner-up speaks volumes about her capabilities. March has also gained valuable coaching experience as a volunteer throws coach at Independence High School and at the Armory Foundation Track and Field Camp.

Kasandra Parker, from Dubuque, Iowa, will assist with middle and long-distance events as well as cross country. A 15-time All-American and 7-time National Champion at Loras College, Parker has proven herself as an elite athlete. She recently completed her Master's in Coaching and Leadership and has served as a volunteer coach at Dubuque Hempstead High School. Parker's extensive experience as a student-athlete and her ability to mentor young athletes make her a valuable addition to the coaching staff.

"I'm real excited about the three new coaches we have," said head coach Scott Roberts. "All of them seem to be embracing the idea of recruiting and all three of them are accomplished athletes in their own rights. I think it is going to be a very good experience for our student athletes to have new blood in our program and having assistant coaches who are well adept to their events but are also very professional in their approach."

The RedTails are excited to welcome these talented coaches and look forward to a successful season with them on board.
