Hawkeye Track & Field Teams Volunteer at Northeast Iowa Food Bank

        WATERLOO- On December 11, the Hawkeye men's and women's track & field teams took on a new challenge. Volunteer hours and helping people in need at the Northeast Iowa Food Bank.

            "We had a very good time at the Northeast Iowa food bank yesterday, says head coach Scott Roberts. "We ended up bagging 2.7 tons of potatoes into 5-pound bags in a little over an hour and 15 minutes. It feels so good to make a difference, and Hawkeye, track-and-field makes a difference."
