Male Athletes of the Week - Men's 4x100m Relay

The Hawkeye RedTails Men's 4x100m Relay team has been named the Scheels Male Athletes of the Week after an outstanding season debut at the Central College Invitational in Pella, IA.

The squad, consisting of Aldaine Angus, Xavier Codling, Vance Burnham, and Liam Carlson, dominated the competition, winning the event with a time of 41.87 seconds—the fastest mark recorded by Hawkeye College in the event since the 2022 regional meet.

"This was our first race of the season, and I believe we will run much faster in the coming weeks," said Coach Scott Roberts. "It was an exciting start, and this group has the potential for even greater performances."

With such an impressive early-season performance, the RedTails' relay team has set the tone for a promising outdoor track season.
