Bio

Emily March has been named an Assistant Coach for the RedTail Track and Field program, with a focus on throws. Originally from Independence, Iowa, March competed as a Division I athlete at Iowa State University, where she excelled in the discus, earning Big 12 runner-up honors and setting a school record. She graduated with a Bachelor of Liberal Studies, minoring in Psychology and Women and Gender Studies.

March has accumulated a wealth of coaching experience, including roles as a volunteer throws coach at Independence High School and as a coach at the Armory Foundation Track and Field Camp. Her approach to coaching is rooted in her experience as a top-level athlete, combined with a passion for mentoring and developing young talent in the throws events.

With her competitive background and dedication to coaching, March will be a key asset to the RedTail Track and Field team, guiding athletes to success both on and off the field.
