RedTails Have an Undefeated Season

WATERLOO–The sports shooting team capped off an undefeated season with a victory against Indian Hills Community College on October 16.

After a shootout for first place, Braden Brown came out on top with 99 birds. Jake Maakestad placed third overall with 98 birds. Devan Myers shot 96 birds. Shooting 95 birds were Connor Elhert, Mathew Rippel, and Britlynn Klaas. Klaas was also the top finisher in the female division. Alexis Teirbury placed second with 91 birds. In third place was Hanna Saland with 83 points. 

"We completed the ICCAC conference season undefeated." says coach Troy Emery. "We won the ICCAC East Division. This team of RedTail Sports Shooters continues the success we have expected from previous teams. We have a very competitive and deep team. These RedTails have the potential to be the best team we have ever had at Hawkeye Community College."
