RedTail Sports Shooters Break School Record

The RedTails traveled to Mahaska County for the Skeet & Sporting triangular against Southeastern and Indian Hills.
The RedTails took the overall win and broke the school record for targets shot, shooting 284 targets. Haley Starmer placed second for the women's individual, shooting 92 targets. Lydia Covert placed third for the women's individual, shooting 71 targets. For the men's individual, Colton Crooks took first place with 97 targets, Haydan Pestorious took second with 94 targets, and Reed Peters took third with 93 targets.
Head coach Troy Emley had some positive words after the successful day.
"This was our first face-to-face competition of the year for Skeet & Sporting clays on a neutral site," he said. "Many of the RedTails were frustrated with their performances today, yet others achieved their average or exceeded their average."
The RedTails next match up is Saturday, September 30, against NICC.
