Sports Shooting faces first loss to Iowa Central at Clay Target Craziness

The RedTails Sports Shooting team faced their first loss of the season in their competition against Iowa Central Community College at the Clay Target Craziness, Friday, October 18. 

"We experienced our first loss of the season.", voiced coach Troy Emley. "This is our first experience of the Clay Target Craziness, we were hoping for a better performance on our home field."

The RedTails lost the competition with 482 targets compared to the Trition's 489 targets.  

Connor Hoegh broke 75 Straight targets, for his career best performance.

Brenna Leitner earned her spot on our team score, breaking 95 targets.

Chase Bindl, Connor Hoegh, Colton Crooks, and Mason Goche rounded off our top

five student-athletes for our team score.

"We have done better; we will see what character this team has as we limp into the Championships.", said coach Emley. "We look forward to our next opportunity!"
