Chase Bindl Named Male Shooter of the Year in ICCAC Sports Shooting All-Region Awards

Hawkeye Community College freshman Chase Bindl has taken the sports shooting community by storm, earning the title of Male Shooter of the Year in the 2024 ICCAC Sports Shooting All-Region Awards. Bindl, in his first season, was also named to the First Team All-Region in High Over All, Trap, Skeet, and Sporting Clays, showcasing his exceptional skill and versatility across all major disciplines.
Bindl's achievements are part of a broader success story for Hawkeye Community College in this year's ICCAC honors. Teammates Colton Crooks and Mason Goche joined Bindl on the First Team All-Region roster in various categories, highlighting the strength of Hawkeye's program. Crooks earned First Team All-Region recognition in High Over All, Trap, Skeet, and Sporting Clays, while freshman Goche was named to the First Team All-Region in High Over All and Sporting Clays.
Other Hawkeye athletes received additional accolades, including Cole Cross and Cole Slabaugh on the Second Team All-Region for High Over All, with Cross also recognized on the Second Team for Trap and Slabaugh on the First Team for Trap. Honorable Mentions were awarded to Lucas Kentopp in High Over All, Colton Crooks in Trap, and Carter Burkhardt in Skeet, further underscoring the team's depth and talent.
