Male Athlete of the Week – Chase Bindl

RedTail Sports Shooting's Chase Bindl has been named the Scheels Male Athlete of the Week after an outstanding performance at the 2025 Collegiate Clay Target Championships.
Chase finished 9th in High Overall, earning 1st Team All-American Honors—the highest individual honor ever achieved in Hawkeye RedTails Sports Shooting history. Competing against both university and community college athletes, Chase was the best community college participant at the event.
He also led Hawkeye's team score in five of six events, including American Skeet, Doubles Skeet, Sporting Clays, Super Sporting, and Doubles Trap. He claimed a 2nd Place finish in Men's Class AA American Skeet and was Champion in Men's Class B Sporting Clays.
"Chase had the best individual national championship performance we have ever had at Hawkeye RedTail Sports Shooting. We are glad he made the trip from Spring Green, WI, to be a RedTail. He had some memorable performances this past season, and we look forward to his future as he gains more experience for his second-year campaign," said Coach Troy Emley.
