RedTail Men’s Wrestling Team Battles Against NIACC

The RedTail Men's Wrestling Team competed at the NIACC Dual on January 29, where they faced off against the Trojans. The dual was not the outcome the team hoped for as they fell to the Trojans, 15-37. The results from each dual and weight class are listed below:

165 lbs: Emmanuel Celestin (NIACC) over Jackson Turner (HAWK) | (TF 26-6 2:38)

174 lbs: Austin Pfantz (HAWK) over Jonathan Krogman (NIACC) | (TF 26-9 7:00)

184 lbs: Jessey Colas (NIACC) over Grant Nason (HAWK) | (TF 21-1 5:47)

197 lbs: Macray Klohs (NIACC) over Isaiah Kellow (HAWK) | (MD 18-4)

285 lbs: Joshua Vis (HAWK) over Xander Kenworthy (NIACC) | (MD 10-1)

Following the dual, Coach Dan Lovell said, "We were kinda banged up and our lineup didn't have some of our starters. We knew NIACC was going to be tough, so we tried to fill all the spots to make it competitive".

The men return to the mat on Wednesday, February 5, when they host the Ellsworth Community College Panthers at 7:00pm before heading to Council Bluffs for the District Championship meet on Sunday, February 16.
