RedTail Men’s Wrestling Battles at the District Championships
The men's wrestling team traveled to Council Bluffs to compete at the District Championships on Sunday, February 16. Six of the nine men who competed qualified for nationals including Gavin Reed, Macael Bear, Brody Hoyt, Austin Pfantz, Isaiah Kellow, and Joshua Vis.
The team placed sixth out of seventh place overall at the tournament, scoring a total of 62.0 team points. The results from each weight class and round are below:

"The boys wrestled in one of the toughest qualifying tournaments in the country. We were able to qualify six of our nine wrestlers to the NJCAA Nationals, which is a pretty good showing for a first year program," said Coach Dan Lovell after the tournament.
The RedTail men return to the mat on Friday, March 7, when they compete at the NJCAA Championships in Council Bluffs.
