WATERLOO–The women's soccer team played their first home game of the season on September, 1, defeating the Iowa Lakes Lakers 5-1.

 

Abigail Bennett scored the first goal of the game. Becky Lenton followed up, getting the second goal for the RedTails. Just minutes into the second half, the RedTails third goal was scored by Jacque Kester with an assist from Marita Leimbach. The fourth goal was scored by Abigail Bennett, getting her second goal of the game. Marita Leimbach scored the fifth and final goal of the game.

 

The RedTails will be back at home September 5, for the RedTail Invitational, playing at 9:00am and 2:00pm.
