RedTail Women’s Soccer Takes Win Over NIACC
The RedTails scored a 3-1 victory on the road against the NIACC Trojans on Wednesday, August 30.
During Wednesday the RedTails earned a well-deserved win and every player contributed. The first score was made by Grace Heddens (15) got the scoring started for the day and was assisted by Morgan Aikey (2). Freshman Annabell Veryard (38) would also come to find the back of the net. Avery Fleshner (26) joined in on the scoring to get the last and third score for the RedTails. made one goal leaving the overall score as 3-1.
Head coach Chris Rennie had some positive comments to say after the win.
"Games against NIACC are always hard fought and we are super proud of the ladies to show fight, passion, and desire throughout and then show real moments of quality," he said. "We get a short recovery before we get ready to go again Saturday and try to build on today's result and performance."
The RedTails will travel to Marshalltown on Saturday, September 2, to play the Tigers at 10:00am.
