RedTail Soccer Sweeps UNI Club Soccer 8-0

The RedTail Women's Soccer team swept the Panthers on Saturday, September 9, winning 8-0.

The RedTails played their hardest, scoring eight goals and not allowing UNI to come close to scoring. Avery Fleshner led the team in scores, making four out of the eight. Following Fleshner was freshman Nelly Dallmann making two. Grace Heddens and Morgan Aikey both made one. The team worked together to earn this successful win.

Head coach Chris Rennie had some positive words to say after Saturday's scrimmage.

"It was great to get our first home game, we have been looking forward to this and the group really stepped up today, we are really pleased with the performance from the girls today," he said. "The soccer that they played at times was really enjoyable to watch and it was great to see the players retaining the information from the practice field and implementing it into the game."

The RedTails next match will be Wednesday, September 13, against Scott County Community College.
