RedTail Women’s Soccer Ties Against Northeast Community College
The RedTails took on the fifth-ranked Northeast Hawks on Saturday, September 23.
The RedTails had great defense with keeping the Hawks from letting the ball hit the net. The first point was made by RedTail Morgan Aikey. Shortly after the Hawks made a point. Both teams did a great job at keeping each other from being able to score.
Head coach Chris Rennie had some positive words after the game.
"Two really great team performances to grind out results against two nationally ranked teams this week," he said. "I was so pleased with the players' willingness to out work and out run the opposition this week. We had to defend extremely well in both games but the pleasing thing for me is that we also looked dangerous on the counter attacks."
The RedTails next match is on Wednesday, September 27, at home against NIACC. Start time is 1:00pm.
