The RedTails matched up against the Trojans on Wednesday, September 27, taking the win 4-0.

The RedTails had a strong offense and really worked together as a team to accomplish this win. Grace Heddens made the first point of the game, and the only point in the first period. Nelly Dallmann kicked off the second period with a point and Morgan Aikey followed her shortly with the third point. Grace Heddens finished the game with one more point, leaving the score 4-0.

Head coach Micah Destival had some positive words after Wednesday's match.

"Today was going to be a tricky game for us, NIACC is always a hard opponent to play and we have just come off the back of two hard fought ties against top 20 teams," he said. "However I felt the girls really stepped up and showed bravery and confidence on the ball today. This week we moved into the top 20 as well. Today was a great marker for what we aim for the rest of this season. Now we have to prepare for a very hard road game against Iowa Central."

The RedTails next match is at Iowa Central on Saturday, September 30, starting at 1:00pm.
