ICCAC Athlete of the Week-Kim Bircher

Kim Bircher did it again last week for the RedTails. Bircher kept two clean sheets in two games as Hawkeye won both by a result of 1-0. In the game against Western Iowa Tech Bircher made five saves to give her team the edge. Then in the next conference game against No. 9 Iowa Lakes the RedTails pulled off the upset behind the nine saves Bircher made. With three shutouts in the last three games Bircher is in prime form at the right time. She faces a NIACC team that has 19 goals in their past two games.
