RedTails win against Marshalltown 18-0

The RedTail Women's Soccer team won against Marshalltown Community College on Monday, October 21, 18-0.

Marshalltown wasn't able to field a whole team on Monday, so an already strong RedTails team had a dominating performance against them scoring nearly twenty goals throughout the game. Jil Lehmann Scored two goals. Erin Todd scored twice and assisted on another. Miranda Tyler scored three goals. Anne-Kathrine Larsen,  Annbell Veryard. Josslyn Parkinson, Niamh Pearson, Nelly Dallmann, Jordyn Van Rensburg, Evie Flint, Lauren Mercer, Derin Hughes, and Ellen Hron all scored once.

Head coach Christopher Rennie had some thoughts about the match:

"I'm proud of the girls today, it was a strange game and environment when playing against a team that has 7-8 players. But we worked on areas that we could control, got the three points and we moved on. It's going to be a busy spell for us with some exciting games ahead. It has been a great season so far and we have to keep driving our own environment to make sure we are ready for the challenges ahead."

The RedTails will be playing against Northeast Community College on Wednesday, October 30.
