Hawkeye Community College is proud to announce that goalkeeper Kim Bircher, a sophomore from Switzerland, has been named to the 2024-25 NJCAA Division II Women's Soccer All-American Third Team. This prestigious honor is a testament to her exceptional performance and contributions during her collegiate soccer career.

Kim was a cornerstone of Hawkeye's defense over the past two seasons, demonstrating remarkable consistency and skill in goal. Her career statistics highlight her dominance:

2023-24 Season: 15 games, 15 starts, 1,260 minutes played, a 0.57 goals-against average (GAA), a .884 save percentage, and 8 shutouts.
2024-25 Season: 15 games, 15 starts, 1,280 minutes played, a 0.63 GAA, a .836 save percentage, and 5 shutouts.
Career Totals: 30 games, 30 starts, 2,540 minutes played, a 0.60 GAA, a .863 save percentage, and 13 shutouts.
Throughout her time at Hawkeye, Kim was a reliable presence in net, averaging 84 minutes per game and keeping opposing offenses at bay with consistent shot-stopping and leadership on the field.
