Lady RedTails Take 10th at Mustang Open

WATERLOO - The Hawkeye Women's Track & Field team returned to action in Cedar Rapids, IA for the Mustang Open hosted by Mount Mercy.

Highlighting the RedTail performances on the track would be the freshman Megan Hudson. Finishing in 15.38 seconds, Hudson took home a runner-up finish in the 110 Meter Hurdles. Hudson would also put together strong performances in the 200 Meter Dash (9th) and the 100 Meter Dash (7th).

Joanna Topham also continued her impressive showing in the long distance races, as she would take home 3rd in the 1500 Meter run behind a time of 5:14.21.

In the field events for the RedTails it was Zarreeel Knox jumping a distance of 4.92 Meters to take home a 3rd place finish.

The RedTails would finish 10th in the final team standings with 28 points.
