Lady RedTails Wrap Up Regular Season at Kip Jarvin Invitational

INDIANOLA - The Hawkeye Community College Track and Field teams made the trip to Simpson College for the last regular season meet of the year.

Megan Hudson continued her strong spring by taking 5th in the 100 Meter Hurdles with a time of 15.08. Hudson would also compete in the 100 Meter Dash and take home 19th overall.

Joanna Topham took a crack at the 3000 Meter Steeplechase for the first time this season and crossed in a time of 12:41.78 to finish 19th in the event.

In the field events, it was South Holland, Illinois native, Zarreeel Knox with a strong showing in the jumps. Knox would finish 8th in both the Triple Jump (10.29) and the Long Jump (5.06).

Freshman, Haile Cook also had a strong performance for the RedTails in the Women's Hammer Throw and Discus Throw. Cook earned a 10th place finish in the Discus Throw, following a toss of 35.83 meters. She took 23rd in the Hammer Throw after posting a score of 33 meters.
