Coach Scott Roberts said about the team's performance, "It was a tough meet for us with Minnesota Mankato, one of the top teams in division two and also had one of the top junior college teams in Iowa Central. We came into the meet a little bit flat, which is not untypical for this time of the year. We are a couple of weeks from the conference meet, and next week, we will start sharpening things up.
