RedTail Women’s Track and Field Signs Breanna Swaby

LUCEA, JAMAICA–Rusea High School's Breanna Swaby will join the Hawkeye RedTail Women's Track and Field team in 2024. Swaby will bring her talents to the team for the 2024-25 indoor season.

The future RedTail has been competing since just 14 years old; allowing her to bring a wide range of expertise to the throwing squad in the upcoming 2024-25 season. Throughout high school, Swaby served her team in a variety of field events including the shot put and discus events.

"I am thrilled to join Hawkeye Community College as well as be a part of their team to not only showcase my talent but also to push myself to new heights and be a valuable asset to the team," says Swaby.

Swaby plans to pursue a degree in business during her time at Hawkeye Community College.
