RedTails Snap Two Game Skid in Dominant Win

CRESTON-The RedTail Volleyball team was able to get back on the right side of the win column with a three-set win (25-14, 25-12, 25-23) on Sunday, February 14, at Southwestern Community College.

After starting the season 5-0, the RedTails had dropped their last two games, giving them a sense of urgency coming into Sunday's matchup. The RedTails energy and great execution carried them to commanding win, with two sets having win margins of over 10 points.

Amber Rickert and Madison Fillinger recorded three service aces a piece, leading the RedTails to their season high of 12. Rickert also contributed nine kills, to round out a solid night of play.

"We took care of the little things and stayed disciplined on defense to come out successfully," said head coach Tyann Caspers. "[Overall it was a] great team win."

The RedTails will be back on the road to take on Ellsworth Community College on Tuesday, February 16.
