RedTails Take 3-0 Victory Over Ellsworth Community College

The RedTail Women's Volleyball team defeated Ellsworth Community College in three sets (25-22, 25-15, 25-16) in Iowa Falls on Tuesday, February 16. 

The RedTail women rose above the Ellsworth Community College Panthers in all aspects, tallying 36 kills and a .280 kill percentage compared to Ellsworth's 31 kills and .169 kill percentage. The RedTails totaled 62 digs and Ellsworth finished with 48.

"Ellsworth is a tough opponent and the girls made adjustments in the second and third set to take care of the things we needed to take care of to come out with the win," said head coach Tyann Caspers.

Amber Rickert led the RedTails offensively with 11 kills and an impressive .435 hitting percentage. Emily Clapp and Jessica Jacobs each added eight. 

Bailey Hoff led the team defensively, totaling 17 digs on the night. Rickert and Clapp followed with 16 and 12.

The RedTails are now 7-2 on the season. Next, they take on Iowa Western Community College at home on Sunday, February 21.
