RedTails Remain Hot Approaching the Close of the Season

MARSHALLTOWN–The RedTail Volleyball team was able to keep up its momentum on the road, Tuesday, March 16, against the Marshalltown Tigers. It was a quick three set match (25-19, 25-12, 25-11) for the RedTails winning all three sets.

 

The seventh-ranked RedTails came into this game ready to dominate. They wanted to carry on their winning streak after success in their two previous games. The RedTails showed great execution during the last two sets keeping an impressive 12 point margin between themselves and the Tigers.  

 

Madison Fillinger proved her excellence on the court carrying the team in digs with 14 and assists with 16. Bailey Hoff trailed by one in digs with 13. 

 

Coach Tyann Caspers says, "We are excited to play Kirkwood again and hoping to come out strong this time around. We have been refining the things we need to work on to take care of our side."

 

The RedTails are one standing in front of the eighth-ranked Kirkwood Eagles. This will be an intense game that you won't want to miss, Thursday, March 18, at 6:00pm.
