RedTails Finish Their Spring Season With A Win

The RedTail Volleyball team finished their season on the road at Northeast Community College on Saturday, March 20. The RedTails were able to come back from their loss on Thursday, March 18, against the Kirkwood Eagles to dominate the Northeast Hawks in a three-set match (25-13, 25-15, 25-20).

The RedTails closed the first two matches with a 10-point or more margin from the Hawks. It was in the third set where things started to heat up, the Hawks only trailing behind by a few points. The RedTails preserved and came out on top, beating the Hawks by five.

Amber Rickert concluded her sophomore season with a bang, leading the team with 18 kills. Bailey Hoff finished out the game leading in digs with 21, showing promise for next year's season.

"The girls came out strong and spread our offense out which helped us to be successful," said coach Tyann Caspers about Saturday's game.

This was the RedTail Volleyball teams final conference game of the season in which they finished ninth overall in the NJCAA regular season.
