WATERLOO–The RedTail Volleyball team returned home to take on the North Iowa Area Community College Trojans. The RedTails were victorious, winning 3-0.
The RedTails were dominant in the first set, winning 25-16. In the second set, the RedTails continued their strong run, once again winning 25-16. The third set was a tough battle, but ultimately the RedTails were victorious, winning 25-19 and winning the match. Outside hitter Emily Clapp had an impressive night, getting 11 kills and 7 digs for the team.
"It was a great fight by the RedTails overall." says assistant coach Molly Schmansky, "When NIACC fought back in set three we responded very well and pushed to finish with a sweep."
The RedTails will travel to Rochester, Minnesota, on September 11 to compete in the RCTC Tournament.
