RedTails Cruise by the Hawks

WATERLOO-The women's volleyball team won a tough match against the Northeast Community College Hawks on September 29, winning 3-1. 

 

The RedTails started out dominating the first set winning 25-8. The Hawks fought back in the second set and the RedTails lost 26-24. The third set went to the RedTails winning 25-22. Finishing the game strong the RedTails had an outstanding performance in the fourth and final set 25-13. Sophomore Emily Clapp had an impressive night with 18 kills and 17 digs. 

 

"We have a very large roster and it was great to get most of our team involved in the match," says assistant coach Molly Shamansky." Every night is tough in our conference and it was good to grind and get the W." 

 

Next up for the RedTails is the DMACC Invitational in Boone on October 1-2.
