RedTails Finish the Regular Season Strong

WATERLOO– RedTail Volleyball closed out the regular season with an intense 3-2 victory over Kirkwood Community College on October 27, giving the RedTails a 22-9 record heading into postseason play.

The victory came on the heels of a tough road loss to conference rival Indian Hills on October 25. The women rallied in the second (25-23), third (25-11) and fifth (15-6) sets to cement the Sophomore Night Victory.

"We are incredibly proud of the way our girls fought against Kirkwood," says coach Molly Shamansky. "We are ecstatic that our hard work has allowed us the opportunity to host at home this weekend for regionals."

The RedTails will face Iowa Lakes in the Region XI-B semifinals Saturday, October 20, at 1:00pm in the HESC.

The winner of Saturday's semifinals will play in the Region XI-B final Sunday, October 31, at 1:00 pm in the HESC.
