RedTail Volleyball Falls to INDIAN HILLS 3-1

WATERLOO–RedTail Volleyball had a tough game as they took on the Indian Hills Community College on Saturday, September 17, at 1:00pm where they fell 3-1.

The first set was a barn burner where no team could pull ahead and the RedTails were able to prevale 29-27 to take the first set. Then the Warriors offense turned on, winning the second set with a score of 25-21. More of the same came in the third set where the Warriors would take the set 25-16. With the RedTails on the ropes, the Warriors took the fourth set 25-22 to take the 3-1 victory.

Assistant coach Molly Shamansky had some positive words after the game.

"Indian Hills being a D1 team was much bigger and more physical than most of the teams we play," she said. "We battled them very closely and did very well overall."

The RedTails next matchup will come when they go on the road to Iowa Central Community College on Wednesday, September 21, at 7:00pm.
