RedTail Volleyball Sweeps NIACC
The RedTails played against NIACC on Thursday, September 21, winning 3-0.
In the first set, both teams kept very close in score in the beginning with lots of long volleys back and forth. The RedTails then took the lead (25-20). The second set consisted of a lot of strong kills and tips, blowing away the Trojans with another RedTails win (25-13). The Trojans started strong in the third set, but the RedTails shortly caught up and took the lead and won (25-20).
Head coach Tyann Wolfensperger had some positive words after the win.
"NIACC came out really strong against us," she said. "We responded well offensively."
The RedTails next match will be Monday, September 25, at Indian Hills.
